This Is Part 7 - 9 of Lost Worlds. The Hero has saved the world and begins the journey home, to return to his love in the world of the living.

Lost Worlds, a tale of a Hero who leaves his love in a quest to bring the world back from darkness and greed that has engulfed it, and ultimately returns to his love and sees her for the first time in the world light.

Chapter 7 - Drone of the Red Sea

When the sun rises the land begins to breath
.
The red sea swells like a beating heart
A pulse returns to the people
They shine with the radiance of hope
The demons have been vanquished
Never to return
When the sun sets that first night
Even the darkness is wonderful
And they dream…
..
.
The world is growing strong
With each day new fires blossom
Minds fusing under the sun
The stars shine upon the living
Their light links us all
In every distant corner of the world
Is the sound of laughter
 
Chapter 8 - The Journey Home

Can it really be so?

The hero has slain demons and saved the land
He will go home now
He will find his love?
He will find happiness?
Has something changed?
What has become of him?
Is he still the same man she desires?
.
Was the time and distance to great?
Leaving the past buried in the rubble of the lost cities of the lost world
Do memories and dreams of what once was still endure?
Only the gods will know

He takes his first step towards home
Breaks into a run
The Distance is great
But every step brings him closer
Ride

The ocean is in sight
The Ship
Into to waves they crash
Waves like the gods themselves
Onward

 
Chapter 9 - Embrace Reunion

But courage lives inside these men
Survival is the only option
There is someone the Hero needs to see
And he intends to make it to her alive
He is coming

Familiar waters….
And then the Hero sees it
The shores of the land he calls home

Home
The unmistakable sense of what matters most in this world
There she stands
On the docks with the sun shining gently in her golden hair
Her beauty is a unlike anything he has ever seen
The Hero melts under her the light of her star
They embrace
Forever is over and may finally begin anew
